To do so, tap the Downloads icon at the bottom right of the Netflix app. If your plan is to watch multiple episodes of a series offline, you should turn off smart downloads. This happens behind the scenes whenever your device is connected to Wi-Fi.
Once you’ve watched that episode, it gets deleted and then another one gets added. With smart downloads, only one episode of a series is downloaded at a time. By default, it uses smart downloads when downloading episodes of TV shows on Wi-Fi only.
